The Friends of the Derry Walls is a voluntary organisation whose mission is to give a voice to the Walls, raising ambitions for their care and presentation, driving public engagement with the Walls and ensuring that the Walls are fully exploited as a resource for educational, cultural and economic development. The Walls Friends are now looking for members to provide support in the form of:
- an annual subscription and by
- donating time, knowledge and specialist skills.
The Friends of the Derry Walls are designing, with Queen’s University Belfast’s Centre for Field Archaeology, a community intensive, large scale, archaeological dig on the Banking this year.
